With nearly 20 years of real estate experience, broker and co-owner of Resident Realty, Kim Sherman has the expertise necessary to help her clients navigate the often difficult real estate transaction process.

An Austin resident for more than 40 years, Kim and her daughter Kaitlyn enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering their time at Red Arena, a local equine therapy facility located in Dripping Springs, Texas.

When she’s not out showing property, you’ll likely find her riding at the barn or at a horse show.

Giving Back to Our Community

There is so much to love about the Austin Area, especially the number of resources available to its residents. One of our favorites is RED Arena, a local non-profit that provides equine assisted physical and occupational therapies, therapeutic riding lessons, reading programs, family support, social skills groups, job training programs, and inclusive summer horse camps.

The dynamic motion of the horse is not only an extremely effective tool to improve strength, balance, coordination, communication and confidence; it is an incredibly empowering activity for the riders who deal with daily, physical, mental or medical challenges.

My daughter, Kaitlyn and I both enjoy giving back to our community by helping the staff at RED Arena with the barn chores and preparing the horses for their role in therapy sessions.
